Dell UltraSharp U2518D 25"
The Dell U2518D has the makings of a good all-around monitor with its excellent imaging performance, perfectly responsive function, and reliable quality. The product is well-made, and there is nothing bad we can say about its factory calibration, which makes it ideal for out of the box use. Despite being marketed as a productivity or general-purpose display, the gaming capabilities make it hard to ignore.

This is a great screen for the price, the InfinityEdge bezel makes it an attractive and compact screen to use, there are plenty of connections and out of the box calibration is superb. That being said there is not much difference between this and the universally praised U2515H. The main difference being the HDR support, which isn’t even true HDR. That being said, HDR content including games are becoming more common, and the software rendering of HDR is better than nothing.

By monitornerds.com onIt isn’t the first time we’ve used a 25” model with WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, but using the U2518D reaffirmed much of what we experienced previously. The overall experience is not massively different to on the more common 27” WQHD models, although the slight edge in pixel density is something we quite like. The overall appearance of the monitor was much as we’ve come to expect from a modern UltraSharp model; sleek and professional looking, without any aesthetic gimmicks.
