Android wont open downloaded file

I downloaded the kali linux for android from this website onto my android phone. when I went to open the download my android wouldnt open it. the file is ".apk" and theres another file that is ".exe" .

neither if these will open , all it says on screen is "cant open file"

my android is not unlocked from the carrier.

im unsure the OS of my android all I know is the model is "U319AA"

While Kali Linux is a powerful tool, it's not designed for smartphones and won't run directly on Android. The ".exe" file is for Windows systems, so that won't work either.

If you're looking to learn Linux basics on your phone, there are safe and user-friendly options available on the Google Play Store. Search for "Linux on Android" and you'll find apps that let you experience a Linux environment on your phone.

For your downloaded files, they're likely unusable on your Android. You can safely delete them.
