That may be, but a PC with the specs I've put in my original post will NEVER run stock Skyrim; the game won't even launch, most likely. You forgot to include the elder scrolls 5: skyrim, I play it on 4 gbram and 1.7 ghz amd processor
Only the games listed on the MAME site are what you can legally play for free. That limits you to only about 20 ROMs, unless you buy more games. How about the free MAME arcade emulator. Minimum spec is a P3 and a directx 5 capable graphics card. That would add 20,000 more games on to your list.
Thank you, I've added it to the list. Also "The Ship" 20$ game but it can run on a low end computer

You're right. But that's gonna be a pretty major overhaul, and the list will probably grow by leaps and bounds.I suppose at some point you're going to need to update the system requirement standard for this games list. You started this thread back in 2006, and back then a 1.4Ghz pentium 4 paired with a 6200 was already reasonably accessible; however, it's almost 2015 and nowadays modern integrated graphics chips can make mince meat out of any of these games....heck, some of these games are already playable on phones!
I suspect you didn't actually read the list. They are already on it.Fallout 1 and 2 are awesome games, put them on your list
