Those are all still here, and you can push into further and deadlier territory than ever before, especially if you get far enough to unlock the endless mode, or the modifier that lets you keep upgrading weapons past their usual point. Vampire Survivors is a bigger, better playground now - albeit one with a bodyguard blocking the final set of swings.

Vampire Survivors is a killer little game, a fun roguelike that absolutely hooked me, a guy who's pretty fatigued of the genre at this point. It'll also only kill your free time, not your wallet. With its current $4 sale until November 1, you've got your pick of either this fantastic indie game, or one of the three cheapest beers on tap at my old job.

Despite these early console setbacks, Vampire Survivors has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time. Consider this me grabbing the sides of your head and shouting, "Play Vampire Survivors, you fool!"
