For content creators, the MSI Creator TRX40 is designed to provide an excellent platform with heaps of expansion capabilities and top-notch performance. We found some small areas for improvement, but overall MSI did a great job on this platform.

As a motherboard, we certainly can wholeheartedly recommend it though we like to remind you that TRX40 motherboards can be spotted starting as 'low' as 400 USD, this one goes for 789 USD. From a hardware, feature and performance point of view though, MSI offers something really special.
As a final note, we liked using the MSI Creator TRX40 and had no problems with it. It will cost approximately Rs. 65,000 at retail but offers solid build quality and great ease of use, as well as the future-ready USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port and loads of other connectivity.
Unquestionably MSI deserve a special doffing of our cap for walking an alternate path to the majority of motherboards with their clean Creator design aesthetic and focus upon letting the motherboard take the strain of your system, freeing you to focus upon your workflow. It's perfect if you want a sledgehammer of performance, but also if you want a motherboard that doesn't turn into Blackpool Lights every time you hit the power button, and all at a relatively attractive price point.
The MSI Creator TRX40 is an interesting motherboard for a number of reasons. Firstly it's the cheapest flagship model from the major brands, with an MSRP of just $700. Secondly, it keeps high-end feature set with an Aquantia AQC107 10 gigabit Ethernet...
In terms of performance the TRX40 Creator delivered some interesting scores. Of course synthetic performance was off the charts due to the 48 threads of the 3960X but, when it came down to real world performance the gains were a little less dynamic. In fact our COD4 benchmark actually was slower while UT3 was faster. (I’m not sure how that happened). Sysmark 2018 and PCMark 10 offered the best look at total performance showing off the power of the Threadripper while illustrating that while it might be a monster CPU we are still limited by the subsystem.
