The Asrock X670E Taichi has a lot going for it and includes one of the richest feature sets among X670E motherboards. It’s also cheaper than most other competitors, with similar capabilities. Odd quirks such as inconveniently placed stickers and a buggy BIOS aside, there’s a ton of value in this board.

A remarkably well made and stable motherboard for a first release with a new chipset, although it doesn’t feel like it’s worth the asking price.

Strangely enough the Taichi model is more expensive on this side of the Atlantic compared to the Taichi Carrara model (the exact opposite applies on the other side) so if white is not an issue you can always opt for that instead. Pricing aside however the X670E Taichi is a solid motherboard across the board for the latest Ryzen 7000 family of CPUs by AMD and for that it gets the Platinum Award.

ASRock's X670E Taichi is a well-rounded, good-looking AM5 motherboard in the premium mid-range space. For the price, it includes an abundance of storage options, including eight SATA ports, four M.2 sockets, and plenty of USB ports, two of which are USB4 Type-C (40 Gbps). For under $500, it’s a solid option to build your system around.

I think if you are looking to build a new Ryzen 7000 system or are upgrading your current system the ASRock X670E Taichi is a solid board and one that has all brand new tech that is going to be around for a while.
