BenQ's W7000 is an excellent choice for someone who's looking for a cost-effective projector for a multi-purpose theater space. Yes, you can find other projectors that will provide better black levels and contrast for a completely light-controlled room,...

After spending some time with the BenQ W7000, I found myself bummed that we don't give as much attention to the DLP projection market anymore. The BenQ delivered the best 3D experience I've had in my home, while coming up a bit short with 2D material as...

Known as the rainbow effect, this DLP-specific issue causes brief red, blue or green trails behind moving objects in the scene. It's most obvious in high-contrast areas, and is caused by the spinning colour wheel used within DLP projectors....

The BenQ W7000 projector has a great 3D mode, giving a nice, bright image with no crosstalk. However, BenQ could still work on its image calibration, especially when it comes to colour fidelity. On that front, the Acer H9500BD does a better job....
