Overall, the Chuwi Aerobook is a good-looking laptop made for light content consumption, writing notes, and basic office work. Anything heavier will leave users wanting (and waiting for) more.

The only niggle is the somewhat dated Core M processor, but fitting a more modern iteration would presumably have had an impact on price, assuming that Intel's current supply problems with its 14nm chips made that a logistical possibility. Despite that drawback this is a very fine laptop for the money. The real head-scratcher is deciding if it's worth £150-plus more than the not entirely dissimilar LapBook SE.

But for a general purpose laptop, it offers a great design, reasonable performance, and as much RAM and SSD storage as machines that cost quite a bit more. So when you factor that in, the $499 MSRP is still rather attractive. If Chuwi is going to continue to try and compete in higher brackets, they will need to address some of their faults, but at the $500 range, the Chuwi AeroBook still offers a lot for the price.

The screen is a 13.3" full laminated 380nit 1080p IPS panel. There is a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port for charging, data and video out. The keyboard is backlit and it has a large Windows precision driver controlled touchpad. The Aerobook started out as a crowdfunded laptop and sells for approximately $379 for the 128GB model.
