Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless

The Corsair HS80 is a stellar wireless audio solution rocking hefty battery life and a beautiful design. It's comfortable, customisable, and well worth the price-tag. My one major complaint is how finicky the wired connection can be, but if you're purely in the market for wireless quality, the HS80 has that in spades.

The out-of-the-box sound needs adjusting, which isn’t great for the casual user, but with a little effort the HS80’s rich spatial audio and excellent microphone set it apart from the competition.

The Corsair HS80 is a solid multi-platform wireless performer. Connectivity is truly plug-and-play, audio quality is great and the microphone is a real standout.

Corsair has stepped outside the box when it comes to design, and while I do love the comfort of the headset and the audio/microphone quality, there are just some downsides that are straight dealbreakers for me.

The Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless is an understated, premium gaming headset that offers features like Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, but the lack of these features on PS4 and PS5 means it's a more tempting buy for PC gamers.

This might be the company's best gaming headset yet - a brilliant balance of comfort, sound and features at a great price point.

I’m just happy as an audio enthusiast that we have a wireless option this good. In a perfect world this would have just a bit more powerful amp onboard, but I should probably turn my music down – a little, anyway. And, since these are my current choice of gaming headset and I happen to be an editor, they get the “editor’s choice” award. It’s logical.
