Phanteks P400A Eclipse
The P400 was a very good case when it was released in 2016. It’s still a good case in 2019. The P400A is an improvement, and a better enclosure, especially for the price. If you have a very low powered system, value the silence that comes with fewer fans and you detest RGB then go with the standard version tested here.

The Phanteks Eclipse P400A, is a nice evolutionary update to an old classic, it packs in better airflow, some solid RGB fans, and a good build experience, but does little to innovate outside of that front panel.

By vortez.net onAs far as the front panel, it’s a vast improvement over the P400 we reviewed years ago. It’s simple, there are no extra layers of filtration stuffed in, and it allows both air and RGB lighting effects through freely. Using a fine metal mesh as a combined front panel and filter is good. It won’t stop dust as effectively as a “real” filter, but given a choice we much prefer a single layer of perforated metal to a decorative mesh panel backed by a foam or fabric filter.
