Adult flicks have been offered as rentals in hotel rooms for as long as people have been popping quarters in vibrating beds. In Las Vegas, things are about to get a bit more advanced as virtual reality headset maker AuraVisor is teaming up with adult entertainment filmmaker VR Bangers to create an experience unlike any other.

No wonder Las Vegas is known as Sin City.

The service, dubbed the VR Bangers Hotel Experience, will sell for $19.99 a pop. Once paid, users will strap on the wireless AuraVisor and select their "partner" for the evening. Scenes are filmed in a location that replicates the hotel room, something its creators say makes the experience much more realistic.

As Engadget notes, AuraVisor is essentially a self-contained Android device featuring a 5-inch, 1080p display with a 100-degree field of view. The headset's wireless nature means users won't have to contend with pesky cables or wires, allowing them to get right down to "business."

The big elephant in the room that I haven't seen addressed yet is that of hygiene. Even a standard virtual reality visor should probably be sanitized between uses. What about one in which its sole purpose is to provide porn? Call me crazy but I have no interest in donning a VR headset for the purpose of watching porn unless I know it's brand new / unused.

VR Bangers and AuraVisor are planning to trial the experience in as-yet-named Las Vegas hotels before a wider rollout. No word yet on when exactly it'll be available to take for a spin.
