Amazon Wireless is getting an early start to Black Friday by offering almost every smartphone in stock for one penny. The company has offered similar promotions in the past which were limited to Verizon Wireless phones only. This week's deal applies to phones from AT&T, Sprint and Verizon - T-Mobile is noticeably absent.

Amazon is offering up nearly 100 smartphones to choose from, including the recently-released Motorola Droid Razr 4G from Verizon. The Razr 4G includes a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display and 16GB of internal storage. The 7.1mm thin smartphone has a stainless steel frame with a sturdy Kevlar backside for increased rigidity and strength.

Other high-end devices include the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G, Motorola Atrix 4G and the Droid Bionic 4G. As is usually the case with these types of promotions, Apple's iPhone isn't included in the sale.

To qualify for the one penny sale, you must open a new line of service from Verizon, Sprint or AT&T. The offer is valid through November 28, 2011 at 11:59 pm.

In addition to the penny-pincher promotion, if you buy a hotspot-ready smartphone from Verizon or Sprint and activate the hotspot feature, you'll receive a $100 Amazon.com gift card. This offer is valid through December 31, 2011 at 11:59 pm for new lines of service and upgrade customers. Gift codes will be sent via e-mail within 60 days of purchase. Note that the hotspot feature must be activated at the time of purchase to quality. Hotspot plans start as low as $29.99 per month through Sprint.
