Increasing dedicated V. Memory

The specs of my pc are:
AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.2GHz
AMD Radeon HD 7560D with 512 MB of dedicated video RAM
8GB of RAM

I searched online and I found that my video card uses my system RAM (if I understood correctly), before my pc used 4GB of ram so the video card used those 512B, and I thought that having 8GB now I could dedicate some of those to the video card.

I will be honest I didn't find a lot of information but that's why I have the question posted :)

You might already be at the maximum setting for the shared video memory. What motherboard (brand and model) do you have?

For that motherboard, you won't be able to adjust the amount of shared video memory. Hewlett Packard only allow you to switch the integrated graphics chip on or off, in the motherboard BIOS.

It means I cant make it more than 512mb... ?
