The G6 Play offers a whole lot of goodness for its modest asking price. Its real win is battery life, which goes on and on. However, such capacity seems at odds with its limited power credentials. That's the main qualm we have with the Play: there's the 'regular' G6 and larger G6 Plus, both of which are more logical purchases, despite their increased asking prices.

If you can swing the extra $50, you should definitely get the proper Moto G6 instead of the G6 Play; you'll get a faster processor, a much better camera, a better screen, and USB-C. That all adds up to a significantly better overall package, but make no...

I still can't believe this is a $250 phone. The Moto G6 looks and feels like a phone twice its price. It has a great screen, a comfortable design, a clear speaker, and in the few weeks I've been using it, no obvious performance issues (despite its budget...

The $100 - $150 space is crowded with plastic phones that do little to impress. The G6 Play, with its reflective design and 2:1 screen, stands out from the crowd. It's an attractive phone that covers the basics in terms of signal, voice, and data...

The Moto G6 Play looks great, is built well, and is easy to use with one hand. The battery life is above average and the software package is fluid and has a few useful customisations. However, the cameras are average, performance is sub-par, and the...

Big battery at a good price. Motorola's latest iteration of its G-series includes the mid-range Moto G6 Play smartphone at a price of around $200. With its 13 MP camera and its Snapdragon SoC it seems to be position fairly competitively. Let's find out...

Place the G6 Play casually in front of a friend and tell them you've just spent £400 on a new phone and they'll be none the wiser. With its slim bezels and big screen it certainly looks the part, and in use it's fast enough that only the most demanding...

It might be worth spending the extra to get the regular G6, but if you're strapped for cash then the Moto G6 Play looks like a nice phone for £169.It's got the stylish looks of the more expensive devices, albeit with plastic and no water-repellant...
