Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3

After taking a look at this motherboard I can really say that AMD’s B350 chipset is the sweet spot for user’s who are building a new Ryzen system. While the B350 chipset is a little stripped down compared to X370 it has the essential features that most people need. And with that you are saving money that can be put towards a better graphics card, memory, SSD, etc.

The AB350-Gaming 3 is a strong, affordable motherboard capable of creating an attractive, high-performance gaming machine.

A well-designed motherboard with a feature set that is largely stronger than the competition at this price point.

We found the Gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3 to be an excellent platform in the $100 range. If you want plenty of Ryzen cores in a more compact, lower cost platform, this is a good choice. We expect this to be a popular motherboard with AMD Ryzen 5 and later AMD Ryzen 3 series chips where overall system costs are lower.

Best of all is that Gigabyte appears to be on the ball with its BIOS updates and the Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 is already stable enough for us to warrant using it in our own systems. If you want to go overclocking in the land of Ryzen with a limited budget, the Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 is a great buy.
