Asus XG35VQ 35" Curved

Overview

The XG35VQ’s build quality is great. The design is a little too gamer for my taste, but I do appreciate features like slim bezels and an easy-to-navigate OSD with a directional toggle. There’s plenty of connectivity and a flexible stand, along with an RGB ring on the back that doesn’t make a lot sense.

There are only a few flaws that we can find such as the middling panel uniformity, limited ELMB effectiveness, and slow pixel response, although these are easily solvable for the most part. The Asus XG35VQ is also competitively priced and we highly recommend this monitor if you are looking for an 100Hz ultrawide for your AMD Vega GPU.

We found the default setup of this screen good as well, and as ever it was great to see a flicker free backlight being used. There's quite a few extra features and functions provided with this model as well, with some high end Asus ROG design as well which looks attractive. If you're looking for an ultrawide VA panel with AMD FreeSync then this is a very good option right now.
