Those options will push the price a bit higher than the $1179 of our 8GB review system, but they're worth the investment in our opinion. Regardless, if the ThinkPad X280's design, features, and diminutive form factor are attractive to you, it's definitely a machine we can recommend -- it is well build, performs well, and is competitively priced.

Even though Lenovo has made the ThinkPad X280 lighter and thinner, performance hasn't been sacrificed. While battery life could be a bit better, the ThinkPad X280 is a more than capable business-oriented laptop for working on the go.*We were sent a...

Existing X Series customers are likely to be split over the new X280 model. The loss of an Ethernet port and second hot swappable battery will no doubt upset some customers, but many won't miss them and the many improvements are, in my opinion, worth...

Like every ThinkPad that I review, the X280 is an excellent device. After all, they're all pretty similar. My biggest complaint is that the keyboard is a bit smaller than a standard one. It's easy to get used to, but if you're splitting your time...

To sum it all upthe ThinkPad X280 shows the willingness of Lenovo to change. They removed many of the defining features of the ThinkPad X seriessuch as the removal battery and SD Card slot in preference for a thinner and sleeker design. We are unsure if...
