The earphones aren’t the most comfortable to wear and the sound signature is a bit iffy too. If you can make-do without the noise cancellation feature, then you can get your hands on plenty of good sounding earphones than the QC 30, which retails for Rs 27,000. Personally, I would’ve opted for the over-the-ear QC 35 headphones as they offer much richer sound, come with better noise cancellation and retail for around the same price. However, if you are inclined towards in-ear type earphones, then I suggest you check out our review of the V-Moda Forza Metallo Wireless, which offer stellar sound and great build quality for nearly half the price.

By blocking outside noise, you can focus on the QC30s’ great sound.

Class leading battery life, the Bose name & the Bose standard design, and amazing performance from the active noise cancellation – if that is enough for you then stop reading now – you will love the Bose QuietControl 30 in ear wireless.

With Bose you expect audio and noise cancelling to be great, and the QC30 deliver on that reputation. They're pricey, but the sound quality and the ANC technology are both up there with the best of them.

If you want the famous Bose noise cancelling and don’t want giant over ear cans, there’s really no other option. These are without a doubt one of the best, but they’re also overpriced. They’re definitely cool if you like wireless, but I think I’m going to stick with the previous QC20’s because the battery lasts a few hours longer and when it dies, I can just plug them in.

Aside from their inability to be used without battery power, there’s precious little to dislike about Bose’s QuietControl 30 headphones. Lightweight, comfortable, beautifully designed, and offering excellent sound, they deserve the consideration of anyone interested in a new set of ANC headphones.

If you want a pair of wireless in-ear headphones with great battery life and excellent noise cancellation, the Bose QC30s might be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s just unfortunate that they’re not the best-sounding headphones around.
