Bungie just the other day officially confirmed Destiny 2. At the time, I speculated that we might see the game's first trailer emerge at E3 2017 in June. Turns out, I was wrong (and that's a good thing).

On Tuesday, Bungie published the game's first cinematic trailer.

Titled Last Call, the clip features Cayde-6 (voiced by Nathan Fillion) rambling on about an epic battle from the past to a disinterested barkeeper. As the camera pans out near the end, we see that there's not much left of the watering hole as an in-progress war rages on just steps away.

As a cinematic trailer, there isn't any actual gameplay footage to digest.

Next up is the Destiny 2 worldwide reveal trailer which is set to launch on March 30 on 10 am PT.
