Maven, the car sharing service from General Motors, is expanding yet again. Dubbed Maven Reserve, the service will allow customers to reserve a new GM vehicle for a period of 28 days. Pricing varies by market in real time so you'll need to download the Maven mobile app to check rates. According to Fortune, a month-long Chevy Tahoe SUV rental will set you back about $1,500.

The monthly rate includes a dedicated parking space for the duration of the reservation, a personalized walk-through of the vehicle, insurance and $100 worth of gas.

The app is also necessary to operate a rented vehicle as it is used for keyless entry and other remote functions like starting, heating and cooling.

Julia Steyn, Vice President of GM Urban Mobility and Maven, told Fortune that their goal is to expand the flexibility of the platform. You can get a vehicle for an hour, a day, for a week and now, Steyn says, you can have a vehicle for a month.

In the 13 months since launch, Maven has grown to 17 cities and has more than 25,000 members that have made more than 32,000 reservations, the company said. Collectively, its members have traveled more than 80 million miles.

Maven Reserve will begin its rollout in Los Angeles and San Francisco before expanding to additional cities.
