If you're interested in jumping into the world of virtual reality but you don't own a headset or a powerful enough gaming PC, the latest game bundle from Nvidia and Valve may be what you're after.

This latest bundle offers three VR games for free when you purchase an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, GTX 1070 or GTX 1060 alongside a HTC Vive headset. These bundles vary in price from just under $1,000 for a GTX 1060 bundle, to $1,600 for a GTX 1080 bundle. You'll find these bundles for sale at both Newegg and the Microsoft Store.

The games included with the bundle are as follows:

  • Raw Data - a well-received sci-fi shooter that's been built specifically for virtual reality. Supports both single and co-op play.
  • Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope - a game that involves murdering everything with a lot of guns, now in VR for the first time
  • Sports Bar VR - play pool, darts, chess, and more in a virtual reality bar environment.

Buying these games separately would cost $100, so it's a handy inclusion in a thousand dollar hardware bundle. It also gives you an immediate entry into virtual reality gaming when your hardware arrives, without having to fork over more cash for VR games.

The bundle will be available from now through to January 31, 2017 at participating retailers around the globe.
