Hello Neighbor from indie developers Tiny Build and Dynamic Pixels isn't your ordinary stealth horror game. While its styling may resemble Team Fortress 2, its gameplay is anything but as you'll see in the announcement trailer above.

The premise seems simple enough - you suspect your creepy neighbor is up to no good and you're determined to break into his house and uncover whatever secret(s) he may be hiding. That may sound easy but there's one big catch in the fact that your suspicious neighbor is controlled by an advanced AI system.

To make matters worse, the AI learns from your mistakes and can fine-tune its defenses. Heck, he'll even go on the offensive and set traps in hopes of catching you red-handed. Fancy climbing though the back window? Look out for that bear trap and those security cameras that'll be going up soon.

As Destructoid notes, this isn't the first time we've seen Hello Neighbor. Late last year, the game made its way to Kickstarter in search of $100,000 in funding. Unfortunately, it only raised less than $13,000.

Those interested in trying out the game early are invited to sign up for the Hello Neighbor alpha.
