Fossil's new Android Wear smartwatches, the Fossil Q Wander and Q Marshal, will be available to pre-order beginning August 12, the company has revealed.

The wearables, unveiled back in March, feature always-on customizable displays set in 45mm casings, a mic and speaker, activity tracking with the ability to set goals, haptic feedback, magnetic charging and more. Despite the fact that they're powered by Android Wear, both smartwatches are compatible with Android and iOS.

While they are marketed as having activity tracking capabilities, neither device includes a heart rate sensor. If fitness is your primary focus in a wearable, you'll be best served to look elsewhere as Fossil now has more than 20 products in its Q lineup including smartwatches and activity trackers.

Indeed, Fossil describes them as having a perfect balance of function and fashion in a "smaller, sleeker package." Specifically, the Q Wander has a soft curving, multi-finish case with sculpted wire lugs while the Q Marshal is a bit more on the rugged side. Both can be further personalized with interchangeable straps in silicon, leather and stainless steel to match a wide array of occasions.

Look for the Fossil Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches to land in stores August 29 with pricing starting at $295.
