GOG.com, the online store dedicated to bringing you great deals on some of the older (but awesome) titles from PC past, is unveiling a new Worldwide Money Back Guarantee to make sure you're completely covered when making purchases on the site. Essentially, if for some reason you get a game that just doesn't want to work on your system, you'll get a full refund.

The site admits this is rare, but it is very refreshing to see them covering all their bases and ensuring that customers get the buying protection and treatment they deserve. If you do have an issue with a purchased title, it is recommended that you check the FAQ's on the website to ensure that you don't have an easily solved issue. But if for some reason your game still won't work then you'll need to fill in a ticket and allow GOG's "top men" to research a potential fix for you. The site admits there are some occasions when they just can't find a fix, and in those instances you will receive a full refund as long as it is within 30-days from your purchase date.

GOG is even offering "accidental" purchase returns. If you for some reason buy a game you already own, or if you simply decide you don't want a game you purchased, you have 14 days to return it. This only works if you haven't downloaded it though. You won't be able to "try before you buy," so remember to avoid downloading anything you purchased on accident that you plan on returning.
