A six-bedroom, six-bath house previously owned by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has once again hit the open market. The 7,500-square-foot home in Los Gatos, California, designed by the Woz in 1986 can be yours for $4.5 million, down from $5 million just over a year ago.

A realty listing for the home says it sits on 1.19 acres and is nestled in the Los Gatos Mountains. The home was recently redesigned and renovated yet it still contains many of Wozniak's most unique design elements and personal touches like the initials "S" and "W" that were etched on the inside of a drawer in the music room and secret passageways for his kids to use.

In a brief phone interview, Wozniak said the property started as a three-bedroom home but it grew as his family extended. Wozniak has three children of his own and three stepchildren. He said he liked the architecture very much, which cost more than $1 million when he had it built.

Former president of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors Suzanne Yost said marketing a home that once belonged to a celebrity certainly drives interest but in her opinion, it doesn't change the market value and may or may not translate into buyers.

Two other people have owned the home since Wozniak lived there. The first of the two owners put the property up for $10 million but things went bad during the housing market crash and they had to file bankruptcy in 2008.
