Realtek Audio randomly stopped working

I have been using Realtek audio for a while, and it has been working fine. Just a few days ago, I couldn't hear anything through my headphones, so I went onto device manager, and "Realtek High Definition Audio" wasn't in "Audio inputs and outputs," and "Sound, video and game controllers." I didn't touch anything in my motherboard either. If there is any way I can download a driver or something else, let me know. Thanks!

I believe that Microsoft is supplying the driver for Realtek sound. On my system, "Sound, video and game controllers" shows a Driver Date of 9/4/2019 and Version of 10.0.18362.356 . In the related "Audio inputs and outputs", "Speakers" shows a Driver Date of 3/18/2019 and Version of 10.0.18362.1 .

In the past, I have experienced 'no sound' as a result of Microsoft Windows Update. A possible solution (works for me) is to remove all related devices from Device Manager and re-boot so the system can 'find' things again.
