Computer crashes frequently

Hi, I am running Windows7 on an Acer5742 64, and it started crashing quite often especially when I am connected to internet. What would br the reason and what shall I do? Thanks

It gets too hot. Clean it.
Files have been corrupted. Run CHKDSK.
Old/bad drivers. Update.
Malware. Remove it.
Failing HDD. Replace.
Failing battery. Replace.
Failing charger. Replace.
